I am a Dublin-based artist, originally from Denmark. My practice centres on the lineage of static imagery, primarily through photography, with a particular affinity for analogue techniques due to their contemplative pace.
A significant part of my practice involves working with photographic installations. I deliberately push the medium to find new expressions that respond to the subject matter I am exploring. This has included projecting photographs onto cinder blocks in Next to None (2021), printing on everyday cartridge paper in Where Mountains Are Mere Hills (2025), and transforming a photograph into wallpaper in Ten-to-Two (2025). These approaches allow the materiality of photography to shape the atmosphere of each work, expanding its ability to carry meaning.
Migration is a central influence on my work, informed by my own experience as a migrant in a rapidly changing world. A decade spent in Ireland after leaving Denmark has shaped my perspective, drawing my attention to the everyday details and quiet resonances of displacement. Collectivism is also fundamental to my practice, emphasising shared experience and connection.
I studied at Fatamorgana - The Danish School of Photography, where I developed a style rooted in documentary traditions with a strong emphasis on composition and emotional resonance. I hold a BA in Fine Art from the Technological University of Dublin. My work has been recognised with several awards and residencies, including A4 Sounds Studio’s We Only Want the Earth Studio Residency, an RDS Visual Art Award, and the Fire Station Residential Studio Award.
I have exhibited in both Denmark and Ireland, including a solo exhibition, Ode to Changes, at the RHA in Dublin in 2022. I participated in the group exhibition All Flowers in Time Bend Towards the Sun at Dublin Castle and, in 2025, presented Ten-to-Two, a solo show at The Complex. In September 2025, I presented a new solo exhibition at the newly opened gallery in EU Commission, Dublin. I was a studio artist at The Complex in Dublin until its recent closure. I am currently participating in a group exhibition at The Model in Sligo.
